During the Fall of 2001, your webmaster was able to visit the former home of Fred Harvey (and the future home of the only "official" Fred Harvey Musem) in Levenworth Kansas. The home has been a local historical site for many years, as the residents of Levenworth knew -- as perhaps few others in our country -- about the contributions of Fred Harvey to the shaping and civilizing of the west as well as the improvement (dare we say civilizing) of railroad cuisine and comfort.
Here are a few pictures of the home. I moved them off the Kansas page, as it was beginning to load very slowly. This should speed up the loading of both the Kansas page, and of the Levenworth specific information.
