Update Sept 23, 1999
Due to Santa Fe control of the Frisco (St. Louis San Francisco) Railway at one time, numerous Harvey Houses and newsstands existed outside the Southwest. Springfield, Kansas City, St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, Joplin, Monett, and Tower Grove, Missour; Birmingham, Alabama; Memphis, Tennessee; and other locations in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas also had Harvey House establishments along the Frisco.
In addition, Union Station and Dearborn Station in Chicago and Cleveland Union Station had Harvey Houses.
Appendix 1 of the "Meals by Fred Harvey" book by James D. Henderson (Omni Publications, Hawthorne, CA: 1985) gives a list of the Harvey Houses and the date they opened.

Hi -- Nice Job on your A Harvey House Home Page!
My wife is in a spoon club and another member has been collecting Fred Harvey spoons. Each denotes the location of a Harvey House and has some form of railroad scene.
They would like a list of the locations of the 84 Harvey Houses and any information about the spoons that were issued (# and list of locations issuing the spoons, reference materials that might include spoon info.). If you have any information or could direct the inquires, these ladies would be grateful.
Thanks, Bill.
